The Hyde School is a vibrant and fast paced  two form entry primary school that was graded as “Outstanding” by OfSTED (May 2015) and is a “Centre of Excellence” for Inclusion. It has great capacity and part of our vision is to provide outreach and support to other schools. Our school is completely focused on ensuring the best for the children and developing our staff.

  • A positive attitude towards innovation and change
  • A “can do” attitude to tackling challenges and finding solutions
  • A commitment to working with families, governors, the wider Elliot Foundation and our partner schools

We won’t put a ceiling on learning!  Do you feel the same?

We can offer you:

  • An ethos that is ‘all about the children’

Situated in Cricklewood, north-west London, Claremont Primary School is a mixed primary academy for students aged 3-11. Around 400 pupils attend the school, which is part of The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust. This charitable multi-academy trust aims to create a thriving community of primary schools in the area. Claremont Primary became part of the trust on 1 March 2016.

The school delivers a curriculum that is broad, balanced and promotes high standards in literacy and numeracy. Teachers help children develop their own learning styles.

Values and vision

At the beginning of the academic year at Claremont Primary School, parents are invited to "meet your new teacher" sessions, where an overview of the year is given. Termly newsletters help keep parents up to date with school activities and developments.

Claremont Primary follows an Assertive Mentoring Programme. Teachers organise one-to-one meetings with the children, to set targets within a personalised curriculum. Pupils are therefore treated as individuals both academically and pastorally.

Ofsted report

“Pupils behave well and have positive attitudes to learning. They are keen to learn, friendly and polite. They feel safe in school.”

“Art is taught to a high standard and pupils produce a excellent range of work.”
