We are seeking an experienced, motivational teacher, who is a highly effective communicator and an aspirational role model to lead on behaviour and inclusion at BGN School.  Supporting the Senior Leadership Team, this role will include being responsible for student welfare and pastoral issues, behaviour systems [inclusion and reintegration], the school code of conduct, being Deputy DSL, leading on anti-bullying and the recruitment and management of the Pupil Leadership Team.

 Do you have:

- Successful experience as a Middle Leader in a secondary school setting

- Experience of implementing successful behaviour management practice

- Resilience and the ability to remain positive and calm in challenging situations

- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and protection of children and young people

- The ability to articulate and share a vision of secondary education

About Blessed George Napier Catholic School and Sixth Form

Blessed George Napier School is first and foremost a Catholic school where we live and learn and develop as a faith community.

We are a Sports College and since 2007 have Higher Performing School Status and our second designation are in Maths and Computing.

BGN is a Roman Catholic School which aims to be an extension of the Christian home to help parents bring up their children in the Christian tradition. We believe that the religious ethos will be found across the whole school curriculum.

In academic terms, we must help each individual to realise these ideals in a positive way through preparation for, and entry to, examinations at an appropriate level in terms of ability and aptitude.

In social terms, we believe that each and every pupil needs support, care and assistance by whatever means possible. Central to this is the right of every pupil, no matter what the circumstances to her or his good name.
