Job overview
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and committed leader to join our school as an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for supporting the development and delivery of an inclusive and rich curriculum at Northumberland Heath Primary School.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing teaching and learning within a school and will have experience working across the Key Stages from EYFS to KS2. They will be strong leaders of learning who are passionate about providing all children with the very best learning experiences possible.
The key focus of the role will be non-class based working with teachers and the school leadership to team to develop practice across the school. The candidate will role model to other staff best practice and provide a hub of knowledge where teachers can observe, team teach and have the opportunity to develop their own skills.
The successful candidate will support the school team to provide the highest quality and consistent teaching and learning throughout our schools and have excellent leadership skills to support staff in raising standards within the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring senior leader who has the skills to develop and empower others, support the development of policies and embedding, monitoring and reviewing their effectiveness in order to build strong teaching and learning within our school through training, intervention and support.
