Assistant Headteacher

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Headteacher to join the senior leadership team at Townley. You will work with the Senior Leadership Team to lead the improvement agenda in all areas of the school. You will possess drive and ambition with aspirations towards promotion to headship. This is an exciting opportunity to teach well-motivated pupils in an oversubscribed grammar school situated on the London Kent border, with easy access to both central London and the wonderful Kent countryside.

Professional Development

We provide a full and robust induction programme for all new members of staff, as part of the school’s Staff Development Programme, with further support for staff new to the teaching profession. Townley Grammar School is committed to the wellbeing and happiness of staff. We offer a bespoke and personalised range of pathway opportunities, including the NPQ qualifications and opportunities to study at post-graduate level. This position will provide a sound foundation for further promotion within the school dependent on the aspirations of the applicant.
