ISR Range :  L12 - L16

Southfield School is a part of The Southfield Grange Trust, a multi-academy trust established in 2013. The school is co-located with Grange Technology College, a mainstream secondary academy at the Southfield Grange Campus.  Southfield School caters for around 280 including 80 in our Sixth Form and 8 at our Project SEARCH site at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.

The school has recently maintained it’s ‘Good’ rating with Ofsted in December 2018. Ofsted reported: “The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection." And “A parent told inspectors: ‘My child is very happy here. She feels she belongs, the teachers understand her, and she enjoys school’.” With our upcoming merger with the Co-op Academies Trust in the Spring of 2019, it is an exciting time to join Southfield and make your mark on this journey.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Headteacher at Southfield School.  This is a key leadership role and you will be accountable for the strategic development of a specified provision within Southfield School.  Your role will be to inspire, motivate and influence staff and students, in securing the highest standards of learning and teaching in order to promote the highest standards of progress and development for students.  You will be accountable for raising standards through leadership of school improvement areas.  You will engage all relevant staff collaboratively in the development of the provision and demonstrate effective and creative leadership of teams in order to secure sustainable school improvement.
