Wembley High Technology College is one of the highest performing schools in the country. Nationally, the achievement of our pupils is exceptional; in 2019, our Progress 8 score of +1.57 has been recognised as the 4th highest in the country by the Department for Education. This progress from Key Stage 2 to GCSE has a transformative impact on our pupils’ life chances and last year, over 50% of pupils leaving us went on to Russell Group Universities to study a range of academic subjects. In September 2020, Wembley High will also be welcoming pupils from North Brent School in Year 7 for two years while their new £27 million building is completed. The addition of a new school in our Multi-Academy Trust provides exciting development and leadership opportunities for staff in the years to come.
The role of an Assistant Headteacher is extremely varied and you will work alongside a team of exceptional leaders to support the school’s continued development. You must be willing to undergo intensive training to help you develop into an exceptional senior leader and the ideal candidates should be ready for deputy headship with 3 – 5 years.
Closing date for this role is Monday 24th February 2020 (8am).
