We are an all-through co-operative school with students ranging from 4 – 19 years.  Staff are expected to make the most of this all through provision and to liaise with relevant colleagues in all parts of the school. The school is over two sites and there may be times when colleagues are expected to work across both sites with students.

These opportunities have arisen through movement in the Senior Leadership Team, and a maternity cover. We are seeking to appoint dynamic, committed and innovative professionals to join the effective and forward-looking Upper School leadership team at our secondary provision.  We need leaders at Assistant Head level with a vision for inclusive education.  


This is a perfect opportunity for candidates who are seeking to lead our school to the next stage of excellence.  The successful applicants will have a proven record of successful leadership at Middle Leadership or Assistant Head level.  They will be expected to work as part of our senior team in the Upper School and may be leading on timetabling or safeguarding.   Experience of timetabling is desirable. They will also take on the wider responsibilities of an Assistant Head teacher. 


The specific brief will be negotiated on appointment.

Preston Manor School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through state school with academy status, based in Wembley, north-west London, for children aged 4-18. It is a member of the family of Co-operative Trust Schools. It is a large school with approximately 1,900 pupils. Situated within a multicultural community, the school offers additional support for pupils who speak English as an additional language. Diversity and tolerance is a key message in its ethos.
