What the role involves in a nutshell:

• Support the Head of School and governing body to promote the school’s values and develop the school’s vision
• Lead and have direct responsibility in an area of focus which will be agreed with the Head of School following appointment
• Establish and review policies through the aims and objectives of the School Evaluation and Improvement Plan
• Deliver a vision for educational provision that allows all students to build knowledge and skills for future learning and employment
• Assist the Head of School and governing body to build a culture and ethos that promotes effective collaboration, excellence, equality and high expectations of all pupils and staff
• Provide an outstanding education for every student in school
• Assist with strategies that promote staff wellness and manage workload
