Assistant Head Teacher – Teaching and Learning, Croydon 

Leadership scale 6-10 

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Head Teacher, with a track record of inspiring educational provision and outcomes to join us in the next phase of our journey to excellence.

St Chad’s Catholic school is a successful two-form entry primary school located close to Crystal Palace and Croydon, in South Norwood.  St Chad’s was recently rated a ‘Good’ School by Ofsted in Sept 18 but we are not resting on our laurels. We are a school with very high expectations and a relentless drive for improvement. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding practitioner and manager with the skills to drive improvement and a passion for raising expectations and maintaining high standards. 

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the schools leadership team and board of Directors, to provide exceptional strategic and operational leadership to help raise standards and deliver high quality learning and teaching for our pupils.  This position presents an exceptional opportunity for professional development within a supportive and welcoming school environment. 

The post is class-based with discrete time allocation for leadership duties.
