Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford.  It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an outstanding colleague with substantial and successful leadership experience at either middle or senior level, to lead and develop the curriculum and all aspects of assessment at Loreto Grammar School.  The Assistant Headteacher will be committed to the development of the ethos and values of the school and will be a proactive member of the senior leadership team.

Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic girls' secondary with sixth form, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. It is supported by a single-academy trust, the Loreto Grammar School Trust, and is part of a network of 120 Loreto schools across the world, with strong links to international schools in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. It provides a total of 1,040 places for students aged 11-18.

The school was founded in 1909 by the Sisters of Loreto, and assumed academy status in August 2012.
