Job overview

The Governors and Headmistress are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join the experienced and dedicated leadership team. They are seeking an inspirational and strategic leader who will be responsible for the management and delivery of the Curriculum and for the analysis, tracking and evaluation of whole school data. The role will suit someone with skills and ambition who may eventually be looking to move on to headship.

The successful applicants must have

· A passion for education and appreciation of working in a strongly academic environment

· Excellent interpersonal skills, ideas and imagination to build on current good practice

· A deep understanding of current issues affect 11-18 schools

Prospective applicants are welcome to visit the school by prior arrangement with the Headmistress’s PA. Applicants should clearly state the role in which they are interested. All applications must be made on the school’s application form.
