Assistant Headteacher (Elementary)

Al Riyadh School requires an outstanding  and innovative Assistant Headteacher (Elementary), to join their impressive Charter School from August 2022.

Assistant Headteacher 

• The core purpose of this role is to support the Leadership Team in fulfilling the vision to  achieve outstanding results in all aspects of school life.
• Deputise when necessary and set clear expectations and establish constructive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Implement areas of development as identified by the School Improvement Plan.
• Facilitate collaborative work that dovetail and supports the whole school development and its commitment to  raising standards.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in line with the school’s frameworks and expectations.
• Provide guidance and model/demonstrate where necessary, appropriate teaching and learning styles/methods  to ensure effective lessons.

Al Riyadh School - A Taaleem Charter School

As a leading education provider in the Middle East, Taaleem is supporting the UAE Vision and National Agenda 2021, and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in their commitment to establishing a “First Rate Education System” for all students.   The Charter Schools is a third education model in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and it is the outcome of a unique partnership between the government and the private sectors.

We are seeking an ambitious, dedicated and resilient Assistant Headteacher who is committed to the long-term goals of this project.  We would like to recruit someone who believes they can make a difference to their students, who understands that change is a process and who wants to take an active role in sharing their expertise as the team moves towards achieving its shared goals.

The projected growth of the Taaleem Branch Charter School Project will offer a broad range of opportunities in the coming years.  

Position Requirements:

Education:  

• B.Ed., BA or bachelor’s degree plus teaching qualification  (Primary / Elementary) 
• Middle Leadership qualification (desirable) 

Experience: 

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience with substantial whole school middle leadership
