ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING LEAD   

A vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Headteacher with Teacher and Learning Lead at our SEMH Sutton House Academy.  The pay range for this post is L8 – L12. 

You will need to provide professional leadership and management of Teaching & Learning across the school in order to raise standards of student attainment and achievement across the school by:    

  • establishing systems for Quality Assurance (through Team Reviews) to inform the School Development Plan and Ofsted Action Plan and to establish a positive culture of self-review and improvement    
  • leading innovation and development of Teaching & Learning through ICT and other new technologies and research    
  • developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others through coaching  We offer excellent CPD and an extensive induction programme. This post would be suitable for experienced practitioners wanting to commit to the challenge of working to attain the highest possible achievement with challenging students.

Start Date:      January 2019 (or earlier if possible)
