About you

As a committed and outstanding classroom practitioner with proven leadership experience at a senior level, you will be an ambitious leader who will support the Headteacher’s overall leadership. You will have high expectations, excellent leadership and management skills and the ability to raise standards of achievement - making a significant difference to the lives of the children. 

You will be driven to deliver the highest standards of teaching and learning for the children of Amherst and will demonstrate empathy, compassion and a clear understanding of the needs of the community we serve. Furthermore, you will be driven to deliver our mission statement of Every child, every chance, every day, whilst enabling all children to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.

This post carries an eight-year employment permit. If appointed, you can expect to:
