Contract Term: Full-time as specified within the current STPCD. To work as a classroom teacher with 32% leadership allocation

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Head of House. The successful candidate will be able to develop and embed an ethos of high expectations, exceptional attitudes to learning and exemplary conduct within the House as well as develop strong professional relationships with students and parents. You will have a significant role in building on our rapid improvement in recent years. Moseley School and Sixth Form is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted May 2016) and outcomes for students ranked our sixth form in the top 5% nationally in 2016. We have an excellent team of Heads of House that plays a vital role in the success of our students.

Moseley School and Sixth Form is a large comprehensive secondary school with a thriving sixth form. Moseley School first opened its doors in 1923. We value our long history whilst being excited about our future. There are 1300 students, 150 teaching and support staff, excellent facilities housed in a grade two listed building, a modern building which opened in 2012 and a recently completed sports complex and extensive grounds. Staff enjoy access to our on-site gym.
