Assistant Headteacher 

Scale Range : L13 - 17 (fringe area)

The Trustees and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join the school's dynamic and dedicated leadership team. The core purpose of this role is to be responsible for the Pastoral and Curriculum for Key Stage 4 and other specific whole school strategies.

The successful applicant must have

  • excellent interpersonal skills, ideas and imagination to build on current good practice;
  • a proven track record in managing change;
  • experience in developing and maintaining excellent teaching and learning and/or pastoral care;
  • a deep understanding of current issues affecting 11-18 schools.

We are seeking to appoint a person to actively promote the vision and aims of Watford Grammar School for Girls. The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher with the ability to think strategically. As an effective team player they will work within a diverse community of students, parents, staff, Trustees and Senior Leaders.
