Assistant Headteacher (Teaching and Learning)

Salary: Leadership Group Pay Range L13 to L17 (Outer London)

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to focus on teaching and learning as a key part of our quality of education team. The post has arisen due to a restructure of the leadership team.

Hollyfield is a beautiful school set in the Surbiton area of Surrey, with great transport links to central London, which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides.

Hollyfield is a very happy, successful and ambitious school that puts student achievement and wellbeing at its heart. In April 2020 we were judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’. Since this time, we have made huge advances in the behaviour of our pupils and thus our overall effectiveness. Our progress 8 score has rocketed and we believe that our staff and students will be very open to further ideas and improvements to secure even better outcomes.

We are part of the ‘Every Child, Every Day’ Multi Academy Trust and have strong relationships with our Trust partners. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is currently a middle leader or associate assistant headteacher, looking to take the next steps in their career. Likewise, it will suit an existing assistant headteacher looking for a new challenge. The role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.
