Job overview
We are looking to appoint effective, enthusiastic and well-qualified colleagues as Assistant Headteachers to join our thriving, oversubscribed and very successful all-through school. As a result of staff development, we have two vacancies for September 2024. Exact responsibilities will be designed around the strengths of the successful applicants and the needs of the school. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who can demonstrate clear impact with leadership of teaching and learning and inclusive practice.
The school’s aim is “Excellence for All”, and the Governors wish to appoint candidates of significant ability and enthusiasm who are aware of and stimulated by the challenges and potential of a successful multi-ethnic coeducational school.

We are proud to lead Dunraven, a 4-18, All Through School, one of the 5 schools which form the Dunraven Educational Trust. This structure offers our children - and their families - a unique educational opportunity as well as the chance for the school to create an exciting and enriched learning experience for all its students. Our primary team are very excited to be working with our children and look forward to seeing them develop and grow as learners. In our Secondary phase, we will continue to work hard to ensure that we build successfully on those excellent foundations all the way to A level and the life beyond school.

Our results continue to improve, remaining to remain strong and well above national averages and representing positive 'value added'. We are proud of our recent Ofsted inspection in March 2023 when Ofsted judged our school as Good with Outstanding features and are determined to strive towards Excellence for All. We are one of very few schools with Platinum Artsmark Status and are a National Support School.
