Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, committed and passionate Assistant Headteacher, to join our highly successful, friendly, caring school, at an exciting stage in its history, as it expands to develop as a Primary School. For an aspirational middle leader who wants to develop their leadership into a SMT role in a growing school, this offers an exciting opportunity to shape the curriculum, teaching and learning.

The successful applicant will be an excellent teacher who has at least four years experience of teaching, of which at least two years will have been in Year 5 and/or Year 6. In addition, the successful applicant will have at least two years experience of leading a core subject.

We are looking for someone who:

• will lead KS2 to ensure excellent teaching and learning
• is a proven, recent, highly effective classroom teacher, who has received consistently strong outcomes 
• will be attracted to the challenges of working in a growing, small Primary School
• has proven, successful leadership
• communicates effectively and has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
