St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is located close to Norwich and has an excellent reputation locally for its caring ethos and high standards. We were a founding member in April 2016 of the St John the Baptist Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

Our school is distinctive because our entire educational policy and approach is inspired by and flows from the vision of life which is enshrined in our faith tradition. Our faith is not simply an added extra but it is integrated into the whole life of the school and permeates the whole curriculum.

St Augustine’s is a highly supportive growing school, rated Good by OFSTED and we are looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their career rapidly as the successful candidate will be joining a strong Multi Academy Trust committed to staff development and a school which benefits from excellent facilities and resources, including three brand new classrooms.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a skilled educator who has the potential for leadership development. The successful candidate will be a strong teacher and will commit themselves to further improving Teaching and Learning in St Augustine’s.

Applicants do not have to be Catholic but should be prepared to support our ethos, if a practicing Catholic is appointed it may be possible to enhance this post to the level of a Deputy Headship.
