Job overview
We require an experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic teacher and leader to make a significant and positive impact on Scalby School’s further development. The successful candidate will lead on teaching and learning, staff development and our ambition to be established both as Teaching and Research school in the next 12 months. EDUCATION IN SCARBOROUGH
Scalby School is a thriving, oversubscribed 11-16 mixed comprehensive school with 1020 on roll, serving the north of Scarborough and surrounding villages. It is situated in an attractive residential area about 2.5 miles from the town centre. There are 4 secondary schools which serve the Scarborough area, a centralised Sixth Form College and the larger Yorkshire Coast College which caters for those with vocational aspirations.
