Job overview

We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified, enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Assistant Headteacher to lead this incredibly important area of the school. There is nothing more important to the school than the safety and wellbeing of its students so that they are able to access high quality learning and succeed in their studies. This area of the school has undergone a significant renaissance under the exiting post holder and we would expect this to continue under the leadership of an outstanding teacher and existing senior or middle leader.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious and energetic person:

  • To take a full and active role in the management of the school.
  • To make a major contribution to the school’s development whilst preparing themselves for Deputy Headship.
  • To lead whole school initiatives and responsibilities according to the strengths of the candidate. This would include pastoral leadership, teaching and learning responsibilities, monitoring student performance and holding curriculum areas to account.

EBN Academy is at an exciting stage of its development. A new leadership team is now firmly established and has a proactive and supportive approach to developing high quality professionals throughout the organisation.

The school continues to be in a period of rapid development where tangible improvements can be seen on a day to day basis most notably in the progress that students are making in lessons and over time. EBN Academy is typified by students who are willing and prepared to learn, you will find the students to be polite, well-mannered and respectful at all times.
