Lime Academy Abbotsmede is looking for an outstanding Assistant Headteacher to join our friendly, welcoming and supportive SLT. 

We are looking for someone to start with us in the Summer Term... but if you are the right candidate... we would be willing to wait!

Lime Academy Abbotsmede recently gained recognition from Ofsted as being a ‘Good’ school. We are a two-form entry primary school located in the centre of Peterborough. The school serves a diverse community and caters for children aged 2-11. We have recently implemented a new curriculum and there has been a lot of work completed on the environment, both inside and outside of the school. We also believe that there is still work to be done! Lime Academy Abbotsmede offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to continue to help drive education standards in an upward trajectory. The school benefits from excellent pupils who deserve the best education!

We are also looking for that extra splash of creativity – supporting our team and our trust in seeing where those cross-curricular subject links can appear and also asking the continual question... ‘How can we make our children’s learning experience the most memorable learning experience?’

The role will involve a variable teaching commitment (strategically targeted) that comes with supporting and coaching staff across the school to develop teaching and learning and raise standards. Being part of our collaborative Trust means there will be opportunities to work with other leaders across the Trust to develop the curriculum further.

The salary for this post is Leadership range 7 – 11.
