The Governors of Moor Hey School wish to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to join our team effective from 1 September 2018 (or earlier).

Moor Hey is a small Special School supporting the development of Primary and Secondary pupils who have statements for EHCP'S (Education, Health Care Plans). Their learning difficulties are wide and varied and continue to be more complex and complicated year on year.

The school is very well placed to continue to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people and places a strong focus on working effectively supporting the local community.

Essential: Qualified teacher status. Degree. Evidence of appropriate professional development for the role of assistant headteacher. Evidence of recent leadership and management professional development. Has successfully undertaken appropriate Child Protection training/Designated Safeguarding Lead training. Evidence of CPD (continuing professional development) linked to Primary provision (including EYFS). Commitment to TEAM TEACH training and its principles.
