Ofsted judged St. Anne’s R.C. High School ‘Requires Improvement’ in November 2017. We are satisfied with this judgement and feel it is an accurate account of where the school is. We now need an ambitious, experienced and passionate professional to join us on our journey to ‘Good’. The position commences on 1st May 2018 or sooner if possible.
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking a well-qualified, innovative and inspiring Assistant Headteacher to take a strategic role in promoting the school educational aims and ethos. The role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to help shape the academic thinking and practice of this rapidly improving, caring school.
It will require the skills of a dynamic and inspirational leader who can engage and motivate students and staff alike. A proven record of raising standards through innovation and creativity is essential, with specific expertise in the area of progress and achievement data tracking, target setting, and providing incisive intervention programmes which have impact.
St. Anne’s RC High School can offer the right candidate a well-resourced environment, an excellent reputation for its specialism and a calm and positive atmosphere. 2017 has seen a continuation of the school's success with GCSE results in line with national figures reflected by a significantly improved Progress 8 figure which is also very close to the national average.
