An exciting opportunity has arisen for two ambitious, dynamic and dedicated leaders to join our senior leadership team as assistant headteachers.
Chesterfield High School is a thriving and inclusive 11–18 secondary school in Crosby, proudly serving its community with a clear vision: ‘for everyone, the best’. With around 1,700 pupils on roll, we are known for our high expectations, strong pastoral care and a culture where pupils feel safe, valued and able to be themselves. Our ambitious curriculum, excellent behaviour and commitment to staff wellbeing make Chesterfield a vibrant, supportive and rewarding place to work.
The successful candidates will work closely with the headteacher, trust and governing body to deliver an ambitious vision for our pupils, staff and wider community. Each assistant headteacher will take responsibility for whole‑school priorities, to be determined on appointment.
We are seeking two exceptional leaders to join us at an exciting point in the school’s journey. We welcome applications from candidates with either pastoral expertise or curriculum, teaching and learning experience.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a confidential medical questionnaire and may be required to undergo a medical examination.
