Following the appointment of our permanent Headteacher we are seeking to two talented, proactive Assistant Headteachers to join our Leadership Team, providing strategic leadership within the Pastoral & Curriculum areas of focus. The successful candidates will be passionate about securing the best possible outcomes for young people and have the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire staff and students. They will demonstrate the highest levels of professional and personal integrity with ambitious, high expectations of themselves and others.  The exact responsibilities of each role will be finalised according to the successful candidate’s particular experience, skills and interests.

Court Fields School is a significantly improving school and you would be joining an ambitious and welcoming team.  This is an exciting time for us as a school and offers the successful candidate a chance to make a real difference across the school and wider community. Our aims are simple. We want every child at Court Fields School to achieve their potential, participate in the school and the wider community, and enjoy a strong sense of belonging. Our foundations for this are high quality teaching and learning, a broad and balanced curriculum, and a safe environment. Court Fields School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary academy based in Wellington, Somerset. There are approximately 758 students at the school between the ages of 11-16.

Court Fields School became a sponsored academy in 2014. It is sponsored by The Castle Partnership Trust, who also support The Castle School in Taunton and Wellesley Park Primary School in Wellington.
