Following the appointment of a new Headteacher for September 2021 we are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher as part of the College’s dynamic Senior Leadership Team at Mount St Mary's College from the autumn term 2021.
This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional individual to join a School which is looking to expand rapidly and to build upon its strengths in pastoral care and extracurricular offering and to become the School of choice in this region.
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher with the vision, drive and energy to play a major role in the development of the College. The particular roles and responsibilities would be defined by the strengths of the successful candidate, but we seek someone capable of playing a leading role in both academic and pastoral matters.

Mount St Mary’s College is an HMC independent day and boarding school for boys and girls, including A-Level studies. Our Preparatory School, Barlborough Hall is a day school and includes a Nursery provision. Following our most recent ISI inspection in October 2023, it was noted 'EYFS is effectively managed and the individual needs and abilities of the children are met in all areas of development.'
