Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic leader with a proven track record of school transformation to work as a member of the Senior Leadership team to support and raise aspirations and attainment across the whole school and specifically in Mathematics.  As an outstanding and passionate leader, you will already have demonstrated exceptional strategic and operational leadership within mathematics

You will have the ability to communicate a vision that inspires trust and motivates staff, students and the community.

Your practice is firmly rooted in an understanding of student need and personalising learning to each individual.

As a member of the senior team, you will have responsibility for the line management and development of the mathematics team.

In addition, we will offer you an interesting and challenging role with opportunities for you to innovate and develop personally and professionally and to work alongside the Deputy Headteacher to lead a whole school initiative and raise standards across school. You will be fully supported with a comprehensive personalised professional development package.

The role will be developed to play to the strengths and experiences for the successful candidate.

BCHS are currently converting to a multi academy trust. The expected conversion date is 1st October 2019 and the new employer will be The Champion Education Trust. As part of the Trust BCHS will work with Crosshill special school and a new school due to open in Blackpool in 2020. Although in the formative stages of setting up, this is an exciting time to join a developing Trust whose ethos and values are to support students to be “the best that they can be”.
