An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven leader to join our schools as an Assistant Headteacher, with a focus on driving high-quality learning and teaching across Cuddington Croft Primary School and Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, under the leadership of an Executive Headteacher.

While this is a cross-school role, the successful candidate will be primarily based at Cuddington Croft Primary School.

  • Honours degree or equivalent
  • Qualified teacher status
  • Proven experience in raising standards and improving outcomes for all pupils
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support staff
  • A commitment to continuous professional development, staying up to date with curriculum and teaching advancements
  • Resilience, motivation, and a team-focused approach, aligning with the school’s values and vision
  • A passion for early years education, ensuring the best outcomes for every child

About Cuddington Croft Primary School

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Cuddington Croft our cluster includes the following other schools; The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Danetree Primary School and Floreat Wandsworth Primary School

About Cuddington Croft Primary School

Cuddington Croft is an all-through 2 Form Surrey Primary School for children aged 3-11 years, including the Nursery Unit. The school is situated in West Drive, Cheam, within a pleasant, residential area in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell. We are significantly oversubscribed due to the high standards our children achieve, the first-rate staff team, and very good OFSTED reports. The school is noted for its excellent SATs results, and regularly features in the top 10 Surrey Primary Schools, and occasionally in the top 200 schools within the country. The majority of children significantly exceed the nationally expected grades in both key stage 1 & 2.

Children at Cuddington Croft thrive in a caring and nurturing environment where our children are safe, happy and enjoy school. We aim to promote lifelong learning through an enriched curriculum, which also provides many extra - curricular opportunities in sport, drama productions and music.
