We are a popular and successful 11-16 school. We now have an exciting opportunity to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who will lead Teaching and Learning across the school. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to support us on the school’s journey to outstanding.

As part of BSF the school had an £8.5 million refurbishment so facilities are state of the art. There is also a floodlit, FA standard, 3G multi purpose sports facility on site which will support both the development of school and community sport. Situated only 8 miles to the east of Durham City the school is well located for access to the A19 and A1(M). It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
