Assistant Headteacher

The role:

Due to the continuing growth of the academy, we are looking to appoint and outstanding leader as assistant Headteacher. We are looking for someone who has a passion for making a difference to the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children, the skills and enthusiasm to develop positive relationships, whilst maintaining a sense of presence and respect from the pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner within their subject area with a clear understanding of how children learn.
• Has a proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom.
• Has a clear vision for developing a school culture with excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning and effective personal development of pupils.
• Has a passion to make a significant difference in pupils` lives.
•  Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire colleagues.
• Is dedicated to school improvement and is unwavering in the face of challenges.
• Can further develop the existing well-established pastoral team.
