Staff feedback is very positive about working in our school.

We are seeking to appoint an innovative, resilient, solution focused Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated, inspirational teacher and creative leader who is passionate about outstanding education. You will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, providing a high level of strategic direction for the school and your application needs to show clear evidence of whole school impact in specific areas. You will have the opportunity to impact significantly on the future direction and outcomes of the school.    We strive for all pupils to reach their full potential. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside our talented and highly committed staff team, supportive governors and amazing pupils. School Leaders are flexible and strategic, and we enable and empower leaders through coaching and professional development.

We are looking to welcome an experienced, motivated and passionate leader who will have the tenacity to turn ideas into reality, who can inspire other leaders and staff to grow and develop to be the best they can be. You should therefore have demonstrable experience in improving the quality of provision in an area you have led, in either a middle or senior leadership role (at least 3 years), along with a desire and determination to improve the educational experience of all pupils and looking for a challenge and rapid growth and development.

The school puts well-being and development at the heart of its work and we have very talented staff who are encouraged to grow, develop and work collaboratively, within school and with local schools, and to be the best they can be. We are working to raise standards in a high challenge, low threat way and enable robust systems and structures to ensure consistency in all areas, encouraging the growth and development of all. We are part of the Seven Kings Teaching Alliance,  and the West Essex Teaching School Alliance. The school has excellent resources and a stunning, spacious site on the edge of Epping Forest including a staff car park and surrounding roads that do not require a parking permit.  We are also a 15 minute walk from Chingford Station which has great links into the City.

We aim to ensure our staff body reflects the diversity of our community and we employ staff with diverse skills and backgrounds and this ensures that our policies and systems are always inclusive of all our stakeholders. We value and respect everyone’s identity and our Equality Information and Objectives Policy confirms our commitment to the 2010 Equalities Act.
