Job overview

The Board of Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, forward thinking and inspirational Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for SEND, to join this successful and highly regarded special school.

Lampard Community School caters for children and young people aged 5 - 16 years with complex needs and difficulties with communication and interaction (including SLCN and Autism). The school has steadily increased in student numbers and is over-subscribed.

This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of a strong, hardworking and dedicated Senior Leadership Team.

You will need to have high aspirations for students, a strong commitment to the development of the school and the drive to continually raise standards. Proven successful experience in working with Special Educational Needs and Leadership and Management is essential. You must be able to demonstrate how your initiatives have impacted on learning and progress for students with complex needs.
