3 hours per day, Wednesday/Thursdays 10am – 1pm (flexible) 39 weeks per year, term-time only
The school is continually investing in improving its ICT infrastructure as part of an ongoing project to ensure that emerging technology is harnessed to support high quality learning and teaching.
We’re looking for an individual with a keen interest in ICT hardware, software and networks to work as part of the small team responsible for the management and development of the school ICT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities are:
- to act as the first line of contact for all ICT related issues reported by staff and students, initial diagnostics and resolution or escalation as appropriate
- ongoing maintenance of systems and infrastructure
- working with staff and students to develop their understanding and knowledge, enabling them to get the best out of the technology.
The successful candidate will be qualified to A Level or equivalent standard ideally in a technology, mathematical or computing subject and must be physically strong enough to move computer equipment. Previous experience of working in an ICT related environment is not essential and full training will be given where necessary.
