We are looking for an Assistant Kitchen Supervisor, with experience in food prep, customer service, sales and maintaining a safe clean environment. The main school kitchen provides an excellent food service to the pupils of the Middle School, Senior School as well staff.  Café K is situated at the Huntington Place site with extremely busy break and lunchtime services. The ideal candidate would be a creative person with a passion for good food and excellent organisational skills with an aptitude to follow recipes, protocol and procedure in a fast paced catering environment. A confident and happy attitude is essential.

Along with providing excellent quality food at good value, customer satisfaction is at our core. 

Duties include: Stock handling, food prep, cleaning, food service, stock checking, liaising with staff, analysing daily sales, optimising profits, monitoring food quality

Amongst other top headlines, 96% of pupils received an A*-C in Mathematics and in English. It was a very similar picture in 2017 with 95 % of pupils achieving a 4 (new grading) or above in English and 93 % above a 4 in Mathematics. 

This is underpinned by our pastoral and chapter system, which helps to create a strong sense of attachment for pupils and staff within these schools within a school. The School operates across two neighbouring sites in the centre of the attractive coastal village of Tynemouth with short commuting links into Newcastle upon Tyne. Kings Priory School is a co-educational, all-through academy in Tynemouth, near North Shields in Tyne and Wear, for students aged 4-18. The school has over 1,300 pupils. It is a Church of England school and is part of the Woodard Academies family. Kings Priory School is situated close to the ancient Priory, the mouth of the River Tyne and the beach.
