An opportunity has arisen to appoint an Assistant Learning Support Manager to the Learning Support Team. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated person. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a diverse range of duties and managerial support to the Learning Support Manager, to develop high standards of teaching and learning and higher levels of achievement amongst students with special educational, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
The successful appointee should possess:
• GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
• Demonstrate experience of undertaking a diverse range of administrative processes and procedures. Previous experience within a school environment would be desirable.
• Demonstrate good ICT skills with the ability to manage software to support SEND students within the department.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Possess a working knowledge of relevant polices/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation.
• Ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Ability to work constructively as part of a team and deputise for line manager where appropriate, but also demonstrate initiative; understanding school roles and responsibilities and own position within these.
