Chichester College - Brinsbury Campus
We are seeking a qualified Librarian to assist the Site Librarian with the day to day running of the Learning Resources Centre at the Brinsbury Campus for two days a week. In liaison with teaching staff, you will ensure that the stock, services and environment of the LRC support student learning.
As a qualified Librarian with proven IT skills, you will have knowledge of web-based technologies to support learning. Knowledge of Heritage Cirqa and the use of online learning resources in a further education context is essential. Qualifications in teaching are desirable.
You will enjoy working as part of a team, but also in a solo role as the post demands. Effective communication skills, organisational skills and ability to prioritise work are paramount.
Salary: Pro rata of £18,358 - £20,068 per annum (i.e. £6,091.34 - £6,658.74)
Hours: 14 hours per week, 40 working weeks per year (paid for 45.6 weeks)
