The Role

The Colne Community School and College is an expanding school with an experienced Administration Team. We are looking for an organised and efficient individual to provide high-level administrative support and arrange cover for teaching staff.

The position will suit a diligent individual who is a team player with good people skills as well as being organised and efficient.   


Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist with enquiries through Reception, telephone and email. 
  • Assist with organising cover during teacher absences and school events. 
  • Provide support with administration tasks throughout the school.  
  • To deputise for the Office Manager as and when required.

This post is 37 hours per week over 5 days (7am starts required on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays), 39 weeks per year, (38 weeks term time plus 5 non pupil days).
