We are seeking an Assistant Principal to join our ambitious and highly collaborative Senior Leadership Team, working along the Principal in articulating and implementing the vision, values and strategy of The Holgate Academy and the Diverse Academies Trust.

As a member of the SLT, you will contribute to the overall leadership and management of the academy and ensure all staff work according to our shared values to secure the highest possible standards and outcomes for all students.

You will be able to lead staff confidently through coaching, mentoring and development at all levels, build good relationships with families and the local community and develop a collaborative model of practice across the school.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent and relevant leadership development
  • Experience of successfully implementing current educational priorities and developments
  • Successful track record of significant organisational change for improvement
  • Experience of leading on student achievement and progress, with impact
  • Experience of developing and leading curriculum initiatives using the latest technologies to support learners
  • A clear and coherent vision which is consistent with the vision of The Holgate Academy and Diverse Academies
  • Ability to take a strategic view in order to determine a clear pathway to achieve future goals

A warm welcome to The Holgate Academy careers site. We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-16 years based in Hucknall and, together with our partner academies, offer post 16 study at the Hucknall Sixth Form Centre.


We support our young people, so they enjoy their time at the academy and play a key part in all that academy life has to offer. We are immensely proud of the successes achieved by our students and we constantly strive to do more and be even better.
