Dove House is seeking to recruit an exceptional Assistant Principal to join our dedicated team and help drive the next phase of our school’s development.
Dove House is a popular, successful, and highly regarded school in Basingstoke, for students with severe learning difficulties and autism, aged between 11-19. We are proud to be an ‘Outstanding’ school but retain our passion to keep moving forward.
We are seeking an inspiring and compassionate leader committed to transforming the lives of children with special educational needs.
As Assistant Principal you will work closely with the principal and senior leadership team to:
· Ensure the implementation of the schools SEND policy and statutory responsibilities
· Lead on the management of Local Authority placement consultations
· Lead staff CPD and Induction
· Oversee Pupil Support
· Lead the Support and Review Internal Referral system
· Lead on Transitions

You will have a proven track record of improving outcomes for children with diverse and complex needs whilst inspiring, motivating and supporting colleagues at every level.

As a special school Dove House has developed the facilities and teaching expertise to meet the special needs of it’s pupils.
