We take great pride in developing a caring, creative and safe environment for our pupils and we are passionate about providing a rich and varied curriculum that inspires curiosity and enquiry. We also place a high priority on The Arts including music, dance, art, drama and film through our lessons and extra-curricular opportunities.

We believe that here at The Oaklands, every child has the right to the highest possible standards in their education so that they are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in life. We are ambitious and aspirational for all our pupils and set high targets. We aim high because we know with the right opportunities, our children can do it.

The Oaklands Primary School is a 2 form entry Primary school in Acock’s Green Birmingham. As a Unicef Rights Respecting School, we embrace and celebrate the diverse communities that make The Oaklands ‘who we are’.  We are proud of our roots- many of our children are local to the school but we do have some families who travel from further afield.
