At Ark Elvin Academy we are working hard to give all our pupils an excellent education and are looking for committed leaders, teachers and support staff to join us at this exciting stage in our school improvement journey. We are a large, non-selective secondary school in the London Borough of Brent, with excellent transport links to central London. Strong discipline is the first of our 6 pillars – and as such is at the heart of our school, providing the calm and focussed environment that allows pupils to learn, show and receive respect and develop the behaviours that will enable them to play a full role in society.

We are looking for an experienced behaviour lead who is keen to lead our work in this area and line mange our team of heads of learning. This person will lead our whole school routines and ensure the consistent implementation of our behaviour system.

Ark Elvin is an eight-form secondary school in Wembley, north-west London.

We recently moved into our new, bright and airy building, which features a new library and a dining hall opening onto a courtyard, along with modern classrooms, a 5 court sports hall and a sixth form common room and study space. Outside, staff and students benefit from a new all-weather pitch for sports like football, hockey, rugby and cricket and a multi-use games area for sports like basketball, netball and mini-tennis.
