Budmouth Academy is a large 11-18 academy in a beautiful part of the country and is a member of the Aspirations Academies Trust. We are seeking an exceptional colleague to join our leadership team and to help us continue the work in ensuring that high standards are achieved by all of our students. This post would act as great preparation for future Vice Principal/Deputy Head roles.

This is an exciting time in the development of the academy, as we are in the design stage of an ambitious rebuilding programme that is already well underway. We are looking for an ambitious and innovative leader with a successful track record of school improvement. This post offers the opportunity for involvement in all aspects of school leadership and management and the successful candidate will contribute to a range of whole school responsibilities.

We currently have one Assistant Principal position available however the Academy is interested in interviewing and employing a candidate who is determined to make a difference and therefore we welcome applications from people interested in the following roles:

· Director of Sixth Form

· Teaching and Learning

· Pastoral Leadership of one of our four Schools within Schools

The Assistant Principal will contribute to the successful strategic leadership of the Academy and will be accountable, as a member of the senior leadership team, for inspiring, managing and leading staff and students to achieve their very best. Alongside these attributes, candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively enthuse and lead others and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing continuing professional development relevant to their position.

Budmouth is a large academy and we are fortunate to have excellent facilities. We offer an exciting curriculum and there are is a wide-range of courses on offer.
