ACS International Schools are recruiting an Assistant Principal for Operations and Systems to join the Leadership team at ACS Egham International School. A member of the Upper School Team, with a responsibility for leading on supporting the Enrichment and Partnerships elements of the ACS Egham Learning Programme. 

This role will contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the best standards of teaching and learning and to assist in the day-to-day running of the school. 

At ACS Egham, we offer the IB - an aspirational, global, and modern curriculum that inspires children to become the drivers of their own success. We’ve been teaching the IB at ACS for over fifty years, and our experience means we know how best to teach it. We know it gets results - and that’s why we offer the IB as our sole offering, orienting the entire school around its optimal delivery. Many of our teachers are IB examiners, meaning they know exactly how to help children to excel.

We are recruiting an Assistant Principal for Operations and Systems with a passion for inspiring students through a concept based, inquiry driven and student focused approach.

Person Specification:

Understand and implement the school’s plans for strategic growth. 

Take initiative and implement positive change in line with ACS values and strategy. 

Integrate technology in meaningful ways and use technology tools effectively. 

Solve problems creatively, balancing competing priorities. 

Organise and structure data, gathering inputs from teachers and staff to inform plans that will optimise school efficiency. 

Conduct data analysis, monitor data quality, and exercise effective data governance.

Develop and implement change programmes for logistical challenges and seek optimisation of human, financial and facilities resources.

Understand and manage organisational structure, systems, and resources.  

Design and communicate comprehensive and effective plans.

Communicate professionally, accurately, openly, and respectfully. 

Qualifications Required:

Teaching qualification essential

Experienced Upper School Teacher as role is balanced between teaching and leadership

ACS Egham International School is an independent, co-educational, all-through day school located in the town of Egham, Surrey. Part of the ACS group, which runs a number of independent international schools in the UK and elsewhere, ACS Egham provides for over 600 students aged 3-18.
