Chobham Academy opened in September 2013 after joining the highly successful group of Harris academies. This 3-18 academy is a world class educational legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Situated within the new East Village complex, the academy serves the community to be established in 2,800 new homes, along with existing communities in Newham, Waltham Forest and nearby London Boroughs. Awarded 'Outstanding in all areas' by OfSTED in June 2015, we are very proud of our achievements and continue to strive to be better than outstanding.  

We are looking for an Assistant Principal with a flair for School Leadership and Management, as well as a clear commitment to supporting and developing the vision for our academy.

What we are looking for:

This post will ideally suit an individual who has operated in a Middle Leader of Assistant Principal capacity and has ambitions to be a Principal. Working alongside the Principal, the successful applicant will be able to have direct impact on realising the vision of the academy and sustaining our ‘outstanding’ status. You will be creative, an outstanding classroom practitioner, innovative and capable of providing inspirational leadership. You will be committed to the highest achievement for all and be a resourceful and enthusiastic educationalist.
