Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to support our existing leadership team in moving our academy on the next step of its improvement journey.
The role is new and will reflect the successful candidate’s areas of expertise and interests. Applicants should be experienced teachers with proven leadership skills. You will be an effective decision maker, have excellent organisation skills and lead by example.
The post holder will lead on Primary Liaison and Transition, oversee line management of some faculties, carry out quality assurance of the curriculum, participate in duty rotas during and after school, assist with parent evenings and meetings and contribute to the school development plan. Further aspects of the role will be drawn up to reflect the successful candidate’s areas of expertise.
