Park View Primary are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to join our academy in January 2024 on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new school 

By joining our team, you can help us to inspire our pupils and helping them reach their full potential. The academy is a one form entry school, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 240 pupils on roll and 33 part time Nursery pupils. All of our staff feel proud to be part of our academy and have a great pride in our achievements.

Park View Primary academy is a vibrant and caring one form entry primary school situated in the heart of Beeston. Our teaching team is highly motivated and driven by a desire to raise standards and improve outcomes for all our children. We have shown a sustained improvement in outcomes at the end of KS2 for two years in a row. It is a popular academy locally and has strong links with parents and community leaders. We are frequently involved in local events and fundraising and contribute to all aspects of life in Beeston.  

Ofsted recognised the high standards of behaviour and the positive relationships throughout school and identified leadership as good (January 2019). Outcomes in both Reception, Year 1 and 2 phonics, KS1 SATs and KS2 SATs rose significantly last year.

Your new role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the dedication, vision and drive to lead and inspire. As an Assistant Principal, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and you will deputise for the Head of Academy in their absence. You will provide proactive support to the Head of Academy, Executive Principal and AAB members to ensure the leadership and management of the academy operates effectively. Your role will be to lead, firstly as a highly effective classroom practitioner that will model outstanding practice as well as undertaking monitoring of the provision, inclusion and achievement for all pupils.

We are a popular academy locally and has strong links with parents and community leaders. As we're situated close to the M621, we have good road links across the region.
