Assistant Principal (L12-16)
Due to the significant expansion of this heavily-oversubscribed school, we are increasing our leadership team for next academic year.
A significant part of the role for this Assistant Principal will include the Standards and Achievement of students at a particular key stage; other aspects will depend on the strengths, experience and interests of the successful candidate. You will have proven experience as a middle or senior leader in successfully leading strategies and staff to support and promote increased levels of achievement for all students.
An interest in pastoral care is essential, but significant experience and knowledge in this area is not. The overriding requirement is for someone who is able to contribute to whole school development, working with and through others to further improve practices and outcomes. Soar Valley is an outstanding school where ‘teaching is exemplary’ and ‘students are proud to belong to the college’ (Ofsted November 2014).
