Looking for an exciting new challenge? 

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Principal, who would like to join the Senior Leadership team to strategically and operationally lead the Academy on its aspirational journey to be one of the leading schools in England. This role is key to the continuing progress of the Academy. The post would be excellent preparation for a Vice Principal role. 

This role will see you overseeing the PSHCE and RSE programme, monitor coordinate and evaluate the SEMH offer across the school, ensure values are embedded and tracked throughout all aspects of academy life and support students’ welfare which includes you working closely with outside agencies and internal staff.  You will oversee the SENCO and ensure student voice and leadership are at the centre of everything we do.

You will also be required to take the lead in improving the parent and carer involvement in the life of the school, support with delivering high quality CPD to staff, line managing key staff and ensuring that the needs and aspirations of each child is addressed through personalised learning and mentoring.

You will be a successful leader and manager with a proven track record of school improvement at senior or middle leader level. You will have significant experience of raising achievement, leading and managing change and have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate staff and students.

Park Academy West London is a new school for a new age, an 11-19 academy, based in Hillingdon Middlesex who joined Aspirations Academies Trust, from 1st September 2017.

Park Academy West London has a close working relationship with the Aspiration Academies Trust’s other academies in London. These are Rivers Academy West London, which was judged ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted report, Space Studio West London, which specialises in space, aerospace, science and maths and, in the primary sector, Oriel Academy and Oak Hill Academy.

The Trust also operates the Aspirations Teaching School Alliance which provides high quality training and support for teachers.
